The OTC benefit is offered on the following Paramount Elite plans: Elite Preferred PPO, Elite Prime HMO-POS, Elite Enhanced HMO-POS, Elite Standard HMO-POS. 

No. Only participating supermarkets and drug stores will accept your card at checkout. Common locations include Walmart, Walgreens and Kroger. To make sure you’re shopping at an participating location , use the store locator tool on Paramount.NationsBenefits.com.

You can check your balance by logging in to Paramount.NationsBenefits.com or the Benefits Pro smartphone app.

Simply swipe your card and select CREDIT as the payment type, if prompted. Your card does not require a pin. If you select debit, the card will decline. If you’re not sure, ask the cashier how to process your card as CREDIT on their checkout system.

There is no extra cost for shipping when you place an order on Paramount.NationsBenefits.com.

Yes. You can now purchase eligible OTC items online at Walmart.com. Non-eligible items cannot be purchased with your benefits.  

No. You cannot use your benefit card to purchase items at Amazon.com.  

You cannot purchase both eligible and ineligible items together in one transaction. You’ll need to complete two separate transactions, one to purchase eligible items with your OTC benefit card and another to purchase ineligible items with a different payment method.  

Your OTC balance resets each quarter. Any unused OTC balance will not roll over.  

• Quarter 1 starts Jan. 1
• Quarter 2 starts April 1
• Quarter 3 starts July 1 
• Quarter 4 starts Oct. 1 

We strongly recommend placing online and mail orders no later than ten days before the end of the quarter to ensure your order is processed during the correct benefit period. 

Unused OTC balances will not roll over to the next quarter. 

If the cost of your order exceeds your OTC balance, you can either pay the remaining cost out of pocket or choose to remove some items from your order. You will not be reimbursed by Paramount Elite Medicare for orders placed outside of your OTC benefit allowance 

You can cancel an order up to one hour after it has been placed. However, products cannot be returned. 

In the event an order is returned as undeliverable and unopened, NationsBenefits will restock the product and reverse the order from the system. NationsBenefits will not charge a restocking fee. NationsBenefits will attempt to contact you if an order was returned as undeliverable.
